I
aimed to explore the way artists are influenced by skin and flesh. From
this I created a range of forward thinking fabrics based around innovative
knit finishing techniques. I have used mainly plain knit techniques but have used the technique of plasticising to bond fabrics, all the while keeping the fabrics feeling luxurious. I have used a mix of shiny silk, silk mixed with steel, cashmere and felted animal hair. I have used various print techniques, including devore' and laser printing. |
