Ptolemy Mann BA (Hons) Textile Design |
Ptolemy Mann creates woven architectural art pieces exploring geometric line and colour. The intention is to blur the boundaries between craft and fine art to create a more 3D, sculptural form of structured graphic textiles. Their scale can be large or small and they are predominately site specific for public or domestic environments. Recent commissions include the Queen Mary 2 cruise ship and a series of fifteen large panels set flush into site specific recesses on two 12 m feature walls for the Open University Library. | ||
