How To Apply

We are looking for talented and driven designers who can work under pressure, be sophisticated and independent learners. Our designers will have to be curious, engaged, open minded and demonstrate a constant sense of enquirie into their discipline. A good knowledge of the design and textile industry will also be expected. All our designers will have to deliver high quality design work as well as regular professional presentations and will have to be able to present and debate their ideas in public debates.

This course is not suitable for designers who are not prepared to engage with research and to discuss and debate their practice.

Your application should be submitted with a clear and focused personal statement that details your understanding of the current textile and design industry and why you wish to become an innovator in this field. Your statement should also specify why you believe this course is suitable for you, what is your understanding of textile futures and how you see your own design practice evolve.
